Mobile Veterinary Practice

In the convenience of your home, Dr. Rubsch will provide a physical exam on all patients seen and will provide a treatment plan that fits the needs of your pet. Dr. Rubsch provides client education, general wellness care, nutrition counseling, treatment for long term medical conditions and a comfortable environment for end of life care.

Housecall Fees

If Dr. Rubsch is coming to your house to examine your cat or cats, we ask that you confine your cat(s) to a bathroom or small room 45 minutes prior to the appointment. Cats have a way of disappearing when someone arrives to your house so we ask for the safety of your cat, please confine in a small room. The house call fee will be charged upon arrival even if the cat cannot be found.

Mobile Veterinary Practice will provide the following services:

    • Complete physical exams
    • Puppy and Kitten Care
    • Bloodwork for senior patients
    • Health Certificates
    • Intestinal parasite testing and parasite prevention
    • Heartworm testing and heartworm prevention
    • Flea and tick prevention
    • Ear care/cleaning
    • Vaccinations - both 1yr and 3yr available
    • Nail trims
  • Outpatient internal medicine cases
    • Dermatology- Allergy testing available
    • Ophthalmology
    • Gastroenterology
    • Orthopedic exams- no x-ray ability on site
    • Oncology-Hospice care, alternative treatment options
    • Wound care
    • Bloodwork for disease monitoring or
    • Blood screening for refill authorization of long term medications
    • Pain management
  • Alternative medicine options
  • Nutrition Education/Consultations
  • Weight Management
  • Behavioral Consultations
  • End of life care and support- hospice care as needed

Euthanasia is an extremely difficult decision for anyone. All pet parents should have the option to euthanize their pet in a comfortable, safe environment. Your home is a familiar and peaceful place for your pet companion and Dr. Rubsch wants to make your pet's euthanasia dignified for everyone involved.

  • Weight gain or loss
  • Stool or urine accidents
  • Increase in sleep or restlessness
  • Fatigue
  • Breathlessness
  • Coughing
  • Difficulty walking or moving
  • Frequent vomiting
  • Poor appetite
  • Increase in thirst or urination
  • Bad breath
  • Dull, flaky hair coat
  • Lumps & bumps
  • Foul body odor
  • Behavior change
  • Crying or whimpering

Please take a moment to fill our New Patient Form and Health History Form for each pet. Please have these forms completely filled out prior to your appointment. You can either email to mvpvet@gmail.com or give them to Dr. Rubsch when she arrives to your appointment.
